Milk… A story from my childhood. The smell of the stable, fresh hay, and a warm cup of milk, just milked by my grandmother. From this milk, everything was made at home: cream, butter, cheese, fermented milk… Simple, pure, and full of life.
During this workshop, you will learn:
• How to work with fresh, full-value milk
• How to handle its short shelf life
• How to naturally preserve it through fermentation
• How to make your own fermented cheese and ricotta
What we will do together:
• Collect cream from fresh milk, from a local farm De Zwaluw.
• Prepare two types of cheese
• Create a nourishing, probiotic-rich spring soup
• Taste and experience the beauty of fermented milk
My goal is simple: to give you confidence to buy fresh milk from local farms and truly know how to use it in your own kitchen.
