First aid for parents (to be)

Did you know that most childhood accidents happen at home? Despite our best efforts to keep them safe, children can quickly get into tricky situations; whether it’s choking on a snack or taking a tumble. Knowing how to respond calmly and confidently can make all the difference.

Join us for a hands-on first aid workshop designed especially for parents. We’ll cover key skills that could help you feel more prepared if the unexpected happens, like:

• CPR,
• choking,
• severe burns,
• seizures

After an informative theoretical introduction, you'll get the chance to practice these life-saving techniques using baby and child CPR manikins under the guidance of a certified instructor.

This session is a great opportunity to equip yourself with the knowledge you hope you’ll never need, but will be glad to have.
