Bees are in serious danger. Populations of honey bees are dying at levels that are unprecedented.  Tens of billions of honeybees are transported across the United States in a unique annual migration that is indispensable for feeding the nation. One out of every three bites we eat, the growth of almost all our fruits, nuts, and vegetables, would be impossible without pollination by bees. Director Peter Nelson speaks with farmers, scientists, chefs, and academics to provide a broad perspective on the threats to honeybees, what they mean for our food security, and how we can address them.
